scheduled c-section btdt moms...
What happens at pre-admisison testing? How long is it? My DH can't make it and just wondering if it's something i should bring someone to. I plan to go alone, but I can see if my mom or dad could come if it's recommended. DH thinks it's just a few blood tests but we have no clue...

Its not a big deal. My Dh came, but in retrtospect he didn't need to. I was in and out in an hour. Just blood test, blood pressure, etc. Congrats!

Ditto - they took blood and took my blood pressure. I was in and out.

For me, with my 1st, they weighed me, took my vitals & history and that was about it. I don't remember them taking blood. For my 2nd, my water broke a week before by date, so I didn't have any pre-surgical testing. This was at Mt Sinai. I went alone & was fine. Maybe you could give a call over to the hospital & see what they recommend?

same. went by myself, spent longer in the waiting room than in the testing. I think it was BP and took blood. no biggie.

They actually did my testing the day of. I had to be at the hospital at 4:45am my testing was at 5am, I was in there for about 1 1/2 hours then went in for surgery at about 7:30am. I was at Southside in bayshore.

as everyone else said... it's really nothing
DH did come, but we were off running errands together
Took my blood pressure and took some blood. I got my bracelets for the hospital that gives my bloodtype. You keep it on
That's it. Go home and then back to the hospital to have the baby!
