scary mommy moment

I am so mad at myself. We put our folding tables against the wall for a little bit today while getting ready. I knew it wasn't a great idea and didn't move it. The babies are rarely in the dining room and we are always with them when they are.

Well my DS crawled away from me soooo fast and hit them and they came crashing down on his head. Thankfully he is ok just some brusing on the side of his head. I was right there and could stop it Scariest moment of my life.

I am so thankful today.

Just a little PSA. I learned my lesson. Kids are FAST and things can happen in a second. If something doesn't look right to you move it. I wish I did

OMG That is VERY scary. My mom always told me to bolt down all the furniture, even ones you are going to leave there permanently, like book shelves. I never did, but Im thinking maybe I should! Ive heard scary stories with TVs too. Huge HUGS. It was an accident. Im sure you feel terrible. Thank goodness, everything is o.k.!

I was just thinking about your post. I just had a scary moment yesterday. I have a set of old blinds in my house. I thought I cut them all b/c of the choking hazard due to the loop. Well, my daughter was standing next to me on the recliner and all of the sudden she made a sound, I looked over and it was tightly wrapped around her head! She was standing right next to me. I cried and cut it immediately and couldnt let her go. I feel SOO guilty. How could I have missed that! For so long! (We dont open and close them, just twist them so the sun comes in if you know what I mean.) But still. THANK GOD I was right there. I can not even imagine.
