Saint Gerard Feast Day
For those of you praying to Saint Gerard, I just learned his feast day is coming up, October 16th. There is also a nine day novena that runs October 8 through the 16th. If anyone wants to know the prayers for the novena, I found them at saintgerard.com. I'm not really familiar with how to participate in a novena, must have missed that part of Catholic school LOL, but I'm reading about it. If anyone has any insight, please let me know.

from what i understand a novena is 9 days of prayer. i looked up the st gerard novena, and its a different devotion, followed by nine hail mary's and then a prayer.

What is the last prayer? Whatever you want to say? I am going to start this Friday.
