Sad...
I feel really defeated with TTCing, and I don't know how much more of this trying I can take. My cycle is supposed to end on Wednesday, and I have a gut feeling that we're out again this month.
Does anyone else feel defeated like this? I really can't even picture what I would be like pregnant, and I can't see this happening for us. All of the newly BFPs are exciting, but really depressing as well... I'm a pretty strong person, and I'm upset that I'm letting this get me down.
I know, "it's not over until TBAF shows"... I don't know what else we could do to get this right.

Re: Sad...
I feel the same way. AF arrived yesterday & I have just been totally heartbroken for the last couple of days. I can't imagine this happening for us again (& I'm afraid that if it does I'll m/c again). I have no idea how I'm going to remain strong & handle the heartbreak if this ends up taking several more months.
This will happen for all of us. I know it's hard, but we have to keep repeating that to ourselves.

Re: Sad...
i think we all have to remember that we are not alone
we are here for each other, and so are our DH's and families
i know of several people that thought they would never get pg. and DID after adopting
Just remember that it just takes longer for some of us
I'm old and have that working against me as well so it gets discouraging and upsetting, i know

Re: Sad...
Thanks for your kind words... I guess I'm sitting here having my own little pity party of sorts.
With all these BFPs and symptoms left and right, you don't typically read on here about the woman who just got a BFP without feeling one bit pg. At least, I haven't seen any of those posts. In my head I keep thinking I'm out (have my typical pms IBS madness going on), got a BFN yesterday when I tested at 10dpo, but technically I'm not out of the game yet? This is such mindscrewing it's not even funny.
My next step is to have that HSG done. I have to call the RE at the onset of my next cycle. I'm nervous about this procedure, and I'm selfishly hoping that I won't have to have it done.
Idk, now I'm rambling. Maybe I should just go to bed.

Re: Sad...
I just wanted to send some after reading your post.
It's hard not to feel defeated when you're trying so hard and doing everything you can.
Although we've only been trying a couple of months, I really took it for granted on how much hard work, timing, etc is involved. I was pretty ignorant when it came to TTC.
I learn more everyday though, and I try to not get ahead of myself. It's amazing what has happen to actually conceive a child.
Anyway, just sending you some hugs, and know that we are here for you and you are not alone!

Re: Sad...
i think there are a lot of people that dont realize how much timing and effort go into TTC
for some, "It just happens" and they dont even have to try
again, just remember we are all here for each other

Pity parties are allowed!!
As I PP, I was pretty ignorant about the whole thing, I guess it's b/c a lot of my friends seem to get PG w/o even trying, AND didn't know they were PG until AF was late. Sooo, if you were to ask them, they had no symptoms.
We are reading into every twitch our body makes, b/c we are trying so hard, we are not only looking for symptoms, we want there to be symptoms. With that said, I think it's possible that you could be PG, and not know it.
hang in there and good luck!!!

Re: Sad...
This is a more difficult process for some of us and it's definitely hard to watch so many others come and go. I think it's totally normal to have your pity party sometimes and then when you are ready you move on to the next month! You are not alone!!! There are plenty of us on here feeling the same emotions and still here after 3, 6, even 14 cycles. It will happen though!!!

Re: Sad...
I definitely have my down moments, and I allow myself to feel that way. But then I start thinking ahead and get past the negativity. It can be a very tough road, but I know you can stay strong.

Re: Sad...
I am sorry for what you are going through... maybe a little break either from TTC or even the TTC boards wouldn't hurt just to sort your mind out? I am sure this is so hard.. everyone is here to give you support and hugs though

Re: Sad...
I get like this everytime AF comes around. I feel like it will never happen. I just want to throw it all away but then I find the hope for somewhere and I go on.
When I see the girls on here who have been trying for so long and they get a BFP I think I get some of the hope from that. Its like there really is a light at the end of this tunnel. One day I will see it too. One day we all will have our BFP and share the pregnancy board together.
