See what I did when we were trying to pick names - we looked to see what the names could be for short.
For instance - our daughters name is Alison - but we knew we wanted to call her Ali.
If James - Jim, etc
We also looked at the initials.
When we were looking at the names - some would come up with
Nicole Brooke C (our last name starts with a C) == so if we would have named her that - her initials would be NBC - we didn't want that

My favorite names are the ones I've used: Kyle, Jake, & Gavin however I like
Logan, Joshua, Kane, Nicholas, & Lucas.
