Room for one more...?
Hi ladies! Do you have room for another on the board?
DH and I have been discussing TTC for the past month and decided we defintely want to try now.
I'm very worried because I have PCOS which my R.E put me on BCP for (to regulate AF). Soonest we could get an appointment with the RE is May 16th.
In the meantime....I would love to start TTc right away, but is it a bad idea to stop the BCP without the orders of a doctor? (I'm in the middle of a pack if that makes a difference). I've been so antsy for the past month since we started talking about me....I'm ready to start trying now! Any advice? I want to stop taking this stupid pill 
Looking forward to LOTS of baby dust on this board and many BFPs!!!

I don't know much about PCOS but I would probably check with my doctor first.
Just wanted to say welcome and there is always room for one more! Hope your stay is short and sweet!

I have PCOS too so DH and I are beginning to try to see what happens. I did stop the pill mid cycle but that was because the doctor told me too (I had a problem with my liver). I just wanted to wish you the best of luck and hope you get your BFP real soon

I don't know much about PCOS or BCP, but I would wait until I see the doc before I stopped taking the BCP.

I would finish the pack and just don't start a new one
I have PCOS too and had a similar situation where I was diagnosed as a teenager and sought out help almost immediately when I started trying.
My RE has said PCOS is one of the easiest problems to fix!! The reason my journey was a little wacky was from issues unrelated to PCOS. You're doing a good thing by being proactive!!

hey col,
finish the pack and then just dont start a new one.
i think stopping in the middle will throw your cycle off from whatever is 'normal' for you on the pill.
i dont know how that could effect your cycle over all but... yeah just finish the pack.
