REMINDER: Tonight at 9pm Mixing Bowl in Bellmore on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares
9pm on Fox.
DH and I went a few years back and it was terrible, we are always surprised it is still in business. We're going to go back soon to see if they kept the changes.

OMG I hope someone puts it up as a bit torrent so I can download it asap. My parents live super close to that restaurant and as everyone knows. I wouldn't mind a big of Gordon Ramsay for pudding....

I think it's so wierd that we all know of these L.I. restaurants but no one ever eats at them....... I've never had any desire to eat at Peters or the Mixing Bowl....... not b/c I heard anything bad about it....... but they just didn't look good.........isn't it strange how we all know not to eat there????

My parents used to go to the mixing bowl, I seem to remember that they quite liked it. I love Gordon.

LOVE the mixing bowl - they use lots of whole grains like quinoa, cous cous, and other stuff you don't find everywhere else. But we haven't been in a while.
I think they needed an overhaul on the decor tho.
I've been looking forward to this since last week!

I love Gordon Ramsey!! And I love that this show was taped around here...makes it so much more interesting! (although it does make me second guess eating out!)

I don't know who would put theri restaurant on this show without a total overhaul. Mismanagement I can deal with but bugs and rotten food? I would never go to any of these restaurants after seeing them on this show.

I used to eat at Peter's years ago. I liked it! I was surprised at how bad it looked on the show. It must have really gone downhill since the times when I was there.

They are doing a place in Islip that I know the owner and I can say first hand that it was clean. I can't wait to see what they have on it. The owner has since sold it, and it has been closed since the beginning of summer.

OMG!!! By chance my DH and I were talking about The Mixing Bowl 2 days ago. We use to live down the block from there. He just said to me "Remember that little restaurant we use to go to in Bellmore? What was the name?" I can't wait to tell him it's on TV tonight. Weird!
