Regarding Crystal Lite
Hi ladies, I am back, was in the hospital for 5 days and I just want to let you all know since there have been questions about whether or not it is safe to use it- crystal lite is SAFE. I was in Winthrop and met with a dietician daily to go over menus/drinks etc. ( I have gestational diabetes) and it is ABSOLUTELY SAFE to use aspartamene and splenda- NEITHER cross the placenta.
I have asked the nurses and the doctors that were in daily to see me just to verify and they all confirm, SAFE.
So drink up! I know for me plain water is sooooooooo boring!!

eh Im doing better but I have to inject myself with 2 different kinds of insulin in the evening and ouchy it does hurt. and I have to prick my finger 6x a day too to check my sugar levels. A nurse comes to my home to check on me too, yesterday and today ( got home friday night) Its hard but worth it. Thanks for asking

Believe me I understand the needle part all too well, and lately my BS has been dropping , I have hypoglecemia so I have also been testing my sugar 4-5 times a day, its a hassle I know, but your almost there!!!

so you totally understand!!!I have to watch out now for hypo too, but true Im almost there. I hope you dont have to do it for very long the finger pricks hurt more than the needles.

re: crystal Lite...for me it has nothing really to do with pregnancy exactly but the weirdest thing happened to me in prepregnancy stage. I was making crystal light and these blue whirlpool type lines were running through my drink. Some of the girls on NFR said they've also seen that. I dont know what it is but I now wont drink it at all.
