Regarding cleaning, do you use a million paper towels in the process?
Some people wipe down with sponges, but I am not one of those people...I go through paper towels (I love the Viva! ones) like nobody's business!

Sponges lead to more germs. I go through papertowels like a mad woman, I buy the cheap ones to clean with.

I'd say I'm 50% paper towels and 50% sponge...I ALWAYS throw the sponge in the microwave for 25 secs...it kills any of the germs that are lingering on there - at least thats what I read

Use tons of paper towels, especially with the dog.
I bought these disposable clothes from National Liquidators. They stand up a lot better than paper towels.

yep, i use a lot too. its easier and i think more sanitary then sponges. but i love the mr clean magic eraser, that thing works like nothing else.

Guilty.
MIL bought me cheap washcloths which she uses to clean and then throws in the wash (similar to the Brawny things posted above). When she came back to visit she asked me where they were and I had no idea b/c I was skeeved by this "wet rag" sitting in my sink all day that I never used them! Finally found them buried in the hall closet...

I never use sponges to clean anything besides dishes.
I use papertowels to clean but I do my best to make sure every inch of it is used - I dont like to waste!
