We got the sony rx100 point and shoot and it does great video too. That way I have both with me all the time.

I have a flip...love it! Keep it around always and I have been able to make 1 and 2 year video montages with the videos

Ugh I wish my flip didn't crap out! Wouldn't read the battery which is apparently a common problem and they won't fix it. So now I have a Kodak sport

We have a Sony handy cam. It wasn't that much $$$, but we love it! It's regular video & hd and we've had it about a year. We got it at Sony in tanger outlets in Riverhead. I think we paid $250-300 and its been well worth the investment already. I always said I wanted one once we had kids and last year we gave in and bought one. I have a Nikon slr that takes video as well but when we are at an event and I'm taking pics I don't want to sacrifice pics for video, so now I take the pics while DH uses the video camera. It's small too-ultra portable!
