we have the sony that has the hard drive, w eopted for one with out dvd's because they only hold 1/2 hour of info and they are $$$$ to buy. The hard drive goes right to the computer and we unload the video

We have the Sony HD with the 60gig hard drive. We have a years worth of video on there and stilla ren't close to being full. We can easily upload the videos right to the computer and play with them or burn them right to DVDs. It's an expensive camera, but the video quality is great and looks great watching on our HD TV.
