Received quote from Alure for my bathroom
Alure just left and the price was the same as other companies I received quotes from..
install new door with frame
install window frame
install exhaust fan going outside
tile shower
shower pan in shower (less chance of leaking)
1 high hat in shower
2 bulb light above sink
pedestal sink
12x12 shower on floor
6x6 shower on wall in shower
tile trim
new radiator cover
medicine cabinet
i assume (forgot to ask) hand held shower spray
faucet (chrome)
We are keeping toilet
I asked about glass shower door and the would be an extra $750 but I am unsure if I want due to it is hard to clean
Also corner bottle holders are $45 a piece so might get 2.
Also, we did half the demo and are not getting a dumpster.
I received a quote in 2010 for labor and it was $5500 plus supplies.

Just want to say I am currently having MAJOR issues with Alure right now (bathroom reno). 
I would NEVER use them again (or recommend them to anyone). FM me if you want to know what happened.

are you doing molding?are they installing the cabinet?

Be careful with Alure, they sub contract and I know a lot of people who have not been happy with them.

What problems did everyone have? I used them on my last house when I remodeled my kitchen and they did an excellent job with no problems.

I also have had friends who have had problems. As a pp said, they sub contract out all of their work and, it really is luck of the draw. One of my good friends did a major renovation of her home, inside and out, to the tune of 200K. She used them outside, but was so displeased with the subcontractors, that she didn't use them inside (they lost a $150K job).

Know this has nothing to do with Alure but my SIL had HD do their siding and they put the wrong one on so they had to take it all off and replace it.
When Alure did my kitchen the company they used for pluming was very good and we hired them out on our own.
The contractor who did our kitchen in our new home subcontracted out the electric and plumbing (which is fine with me). I just wanted to hire a company with a warranty in case they have to come back. If anyone can recommend a company please let me know.
