Really upset about my dr visit today updated with more news
I have to stay home tomorrow to collect urine for 24hrs, I have to then go back to the dr on Thurs for more urine and do a blood work run..
She said after those results come back late Thursday she wiill decide if I need to get admitted and monitored as Sunday Sofia is fully cooked and would be able to come out healthy with being induced..
My blood pressure is really high she said, I lost 4lbs from last week and the protein in my urine is high..
I am so upset I can't even stop crying.. 
Update 12/5/07
ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
so I went to the dr.... I lost 2 more lbs.. so now I am down 6lbs in the last 2 weeks.....
The dr said that Sofia might not be growing and be under some stress or pressure...
so now I have to get 3 diff sono's on Friday and once again talk about being induced
Lets say I am a nervous mess.....

Its very common to have high BP at the end with first pregnancy's, I had it and Julia was delivered at 38 weeks and was fine and healthy. Good luck!

RELAX!!! I had the same thing and the most important thing for you to do now is to relax! Either way, you are going to get to meet your beautiful little girl soon.
My DS was born at 36w and 4or5d (i don't remember now!) because I was induced for preeclampsia. He is now almost 8 mths old and 100% healthy!
Just try to relax and remember that the dr. will do whatever is best for you and that precious

I'm going through exactly the same thing, although I'm not staying home tomorrow for the 24hr urine - I get to do it over the weekend.
Do you know what your blood pressure was?? Mine has been high, and I've been sent for a non-stress test and each time I take it my blood pressure goes back to normal.

How many weeks are you? The same thing happened to me at 39 weeks and they just induced me instead of the urine collection.
I had high BP and lost 3lbs between 38 and 39 weeks.

I'm sorry.
I had pre-eclampsia with my first and was induced at 39 1/2 weeks. I had a great birth and felt great afterwards.
Try not to worry too much as it isn't good for you or Sofia...

You have to try to relax!! I know it's not easy - no one has ever said I was a laid back person either but it's what you have to do for you and for Sofia.
You are at the end now. If there was ever a time for there to be an issue this is the best possible time because like you said, she is fully cooked!
I'm sure it will all work out for the best in the end!

I'm really sorry you are experiencing problems. Hopefully the tests won't be bad, and you can just rest a couple more weeks.
It sounds as if you are ready for her though, and as you said, she's fully cooked, so everything should be fine.
