Really??? So annoying!!!!
So I'm preggers with my second and I couldn't be more thrilled!!!! But my first delivery was a vaginal one and now that I have a baby sitting on my bladder and I have to drink a ton of water I'll sneeze and I have leakage! What is going on!?! It's getting really annoying!!! I still have a ways to go, I'm only a little over 18 weeks. What's going to be happening when the baby is really big??? Am I going to have to start wearing depends??? Starting to think c-sections are not so bad?? Sorry, had to vent here. Only place where people might understand what I'm going through.

Really??? So annoying!!!!
I had a csection with my first and leaked the entire pregnancy. SO it was before birth. I still have to be careful when I sneeze and forget jumping jacks at the gym....I would pee all over.
Def do kegals

Hmmm..I have not had this happen to me yet but I wanted to say You are drinking allot of water so maybe your bladder is really full. I would call your Dr. and tell them about this and see what they have to say!
Wish you lots of luck!!!!!!

I never know if I'm doing them right? They say don't suck in your tummy, don't squeeze your butt muscles, don't do it while peeing. Ugh!

I worked in an incontinence clinic upstate for a year years ago and so many of our patients were women who had recently given birth. Most just needed extra help with doing their kegels in various ways (coaching, diary, or something called biofeedback where basically you're doing kegels with a device that's called a pessary in there and it registers the strength and reflects on the computer)... It sucks, but it's part of pregnancy in general!

Wow!! That's interesting! Didn't know they have clinics to help you. I would love to know if I was doing them correctly and efficiently.
Interesting also to hear that it still happens even if you've had c sections. I was thinking you avoided this problem by having one. I guess not? Thanks for the input and making me feel like I'm not alone!!

Per my mom especially - no difference. I think it has a lot to do with the pressure that's put on all your organs during pregnancy and how it moves everything. Yeah, this clinic was upstate, but there are urologists all over that could help you with this (and probably your gyno if you have a good one). One of the great things about biofeed back is that it makes sure that you are doing them correctly. Very VERY rarely you'd see a woman who needed to have surgery because the bladder had essentially dislocated (ever see those commercials about vaginal mesh?). But that was VERY rarely.

Re: Really??? So annoying!!!!
This is my first and I am constantly having to change pjs in the middle of the night, having leakage throughout the day just from certain movements, etc. I have to pee constantly to keep my bladder empty since I have no control over it. I am really far along now, 37 weeks, but this has been a struggle for months now. The other day I tripped in the parking lot, I was fine, I didn't actually fall, but I wet myself from the uncontrollable movement. I wish I could tell you it gets better but it gets a whole lot worse first.
