Really depressed...
I hate my job and I had an interview last week but it never happened. It hopefully will be this week now but I doubt it. I love my hours at my current job but the work is getting so boring. And I know it is time to move on because I dread going in everyday. Plus it has been over a yr and no raise. And I do soo much for them.
And then there are the money woes. I just don't know what to do anymore And I can't talk to DH because he is beyond stressed out with the business ever since his dad got sick.
I guess I just need to vent to someone. Thanks for listening

I know how it feels and it stinks. I learned early on at my last job that if I wanted more money I needed to open my mouth otherwise they would never do it. Everyone (only 5 employees, didn't include the partners) at to ask for their raise. I thought it was ridiculous but you know what we all worked so hard and we deserved to get compensated.
As far as the work I had that issue to sometimes (not often though) and I would ask for more work or clean the office, organize things. I was technically an admin assist. but I had job duties of an office manager. They hated when I went on a cleaning frenzy because I was constantly changing things in the supply closet  . They also hated when I left and realized how much I actually did for them and how organzied I actually tried to keep the place.
With all that said I do think their comes a time where you just have to move on sometimes. Maybe you are at that point. I also think that sometimes it isn't a bad thing to take a small paycut because you might end working for a company that believes in keeping their employees happy and you might end up making more in the long run or have more room for advancement.

I was miserable at work once also...I left for a yr and half ago...and came back to a different position and I am much happier now.
The decision to move on is the hardest...but once you do it, it gets much easier

I know what it is like to be miserable at work. I left a wonderful job for one that was so bad, I cried every Sunday night knowing I had to start another miserable week in that hellhole. You should really start looking for something that is better paying. It is possible to find something you enjoy doing with the benefits of work/family quality of life balance. It took me a while & after many many interviews, I now work at a place I love with people that are wonderful AND I receive a paycheck that it quite nice.  . You just have to be willing to commit to finding the right job. It is going to take time & you will most likey get frustrated, but I assure you that when you do find the right thing, it will all be worth it. I wish you the best of luck.

aw hang in there.
If you have been there over a year and no raise, is there anyway you can talk to your boss about that? If you are a loyal good worker, maybe they can work with you, rather then send you looking for another job.

Thank you everyone. I feel worse today. And then what happens is I tend to spend money. And we don't have it to spend. I had nightmares all last night and my reflux is nuts.
I think even if they give me a raise it won't help. I have to start really looking this week. I can't go on like this.
