RE Recommendation Needed
Hi,
I am looking for a good RE. Doesn't have to be the best of the best. I just want to get checked out to make sure all is good..Am almost 39, had 1 miscarriage and just had a possible chemical...also have been getting weird spotting lately....only been trying for 4 months, but i don't want to waste any time, in case something is wrong.
Someplace in GardenCity, Mineola, Rockville Center would all be ideal.

Cornell is in Garden City I think. Check your insurance because it gets very expensive....even just for the tests and if you have coverage there is no need to pay out of pocket. Also look into the clinic at LIJ

Definitely Braverman since you had a loss and a chemical. He treats multiple losses that can be due to immunilogical issues which other Dr's in the area don't. The only thing is, he doesn't take insurance unless you have out of network coverage.

I am pregnant with twins conceived through IUI at the Stony Brook office. Heard great things about all the offices though!!!!

I used rsofny in stony brook but they have offices in mineola. I have an 11 month old dd because of them.

Thanks..i think i will try Rsofny in Mineola. If doctor Braverman doesn't take insurance i really can't afford him.
For now, i just want to figure out why i spotted 6 days after ovulation..and want to know why i still don't have AF on CD42. I want to get tested to see if i have any issues going on.
I still don't know if i had a chemical or if i had faulty wondfo's..After the negative bloodwork results i tried testing with another wondfo and still got another faint positive.
Is there a specific doctor at Rsofny i should see?????

I used RSONY as well. I was only there a short time but saw Dr. Trivax and I really liked him, especially at the consult.

You will eventually meet with most/all of them depending on who is there on your appt. days...My "main" RE there was Dr.Stelling (my 1st consult was with him and overall he was the one I consulted with to discuss ant major decisions as far as treatment)
Heres my observation of all the RE's I personally have dealt with there ...
Dr.Stelling (male) : very knowledgable, funny as heck but talks super fast so you have to pay attention 
Dr.Cain (female) - not the warm and fuzzy type but really really knows her stuff ...She did my successful IUI with DS#1
Dr.Sung (female)- very sweet (did both my successful IVF and FET) ..Also advised me very well as to how many embryos she thought we should transfer
Dr.San Roman (male)...He's the head RE there though, TBH, throughout my 5 years as a patient there, I have only seen him 1-2x ...People like him though
Dr.Saketos-Did my first IVF (chemical pg)
She was very sweet and compassionate ..
There are specific RE's there that specialize in different things (recuurent loss, PGD etc...) Just ask when you call
