I think what got me today is we have a cousin who got pregnant naturally soon after starting to ttc, and she gave birth two weeks ago.... I heard she was in labor for 8 minutes. Umm I assume the info was just communicated wrong and that she just pushed for 8 minutes because I never heard of an 8 minute long labor.
Anyway......... I was about 16wks pregnant at her wedding last year. A year later, she has a baby.... and I have 14 frozen embies. I know what I have is a GOOD thing ... but I just never imagined after I was the one 16wks pregnant at her wedding... that she would be the first one to have a baby. I know this all sounds petty and dumb, but such is my mood tonight......... I'm just in a whining mood I guess. Can I blame the pill?

i cannot even imagine feeling what you are feeling after what you have been through..it is so strange the way life deals us our hand and i wish i had a better explanation of why this kind of stuff happens but i do not..i just know that someone as caring,helpful,sweet and most important STRONG is destined to be a mother..no other way around it
i think we all get to have those days where we feel like crap and r allowed to vent..we deserve it...iinfertlity will kick ur as$ and sometimes we need a large drink a shoulder to cry on and a good friend to wipe the tears
u vent all u want! this is what we r here for

Thanks....... I've been saying this a lot lately... but it's just been too long 
I really do hate complaining, as much as that may be hard to believe lately!!!

Ugh, hang in there. We ALL have these days ... and you have been through SO much. These little reminders that come along and pour salt in our wounds sting so badly. But, as you know, somehow, we bounce back and look toward the future.

aww sweetie. big hugs to you.
i spent the weekend with a pregnant person- THE WEEKEND- of her rubbing her belly, reading her baby books, her husband kissing her belly. i had a little breakdown to DH.
it sucks and its cruel to deal with.
im so sorry we are all in this boat.
my question is...once we do get pregnant and have a baby- does the pain and jealousy ever go away?

Can I please answer this for you? Even thought I didnt go through IVF I still had my problems. Now being almost 17 weeks its still a bit hard seeing others that have recently had their babies. So many of our friends just gave birth. I look at them with jealousy still because they didnt have to try as hard or for so long or have the multiple MC or Negatives. I still fear that something could go wrong and and I wont get my happy ending. That positive is such a great feeling but it's not 100% there for me yet. I dont think it will be until I am holding my LO and they are safe and sound. I still think about my MC and how they made me feel. Everytime I go to the BR, I check the TP to make sure there's nothing on it. It's so stressful. I feel robbed of the relax feeling that so many others have. Our family is so excited for us but it's hard knowing that inside I have my concerns. I am going to cherish every cry and diaper change every sick day they may have because I wanted it so bad and we tried for a long time. "...in the end it will all be worth it" I hope this is true.
