I think rainboots are ugly period. I have navy blue hunters with the cream lining. I bought kids size to save money.

I had a grey and white polka dot pair from Nine West. I thought they were cute... as far as rain boots can go anyway. But that's certainly not why I was wearing them!

Someone gave me a gift card so I just ordered my first cheapie pair from Target this weekend.
Not sure how I feel about them so I don't want to start off with an expensive pair first.
A lot was not available online though unfortunately.
I also thought if they look horrible in person, I just return them to the store which is right near me.
Here is the pair I ordered. (I wanted the taller gray or black but they were out).

I have these. I love them - BUT - if you don't have high socks under them, or something to prevent the edge from touching your leg, they KILL. Having said that, i wear them all the time and really do like them.

hunters in Black. I have pink fleece & cream cable sweater inserts too.
I was on the fence about them....BUT love them & worth every penny. I even wear them pumpkin picking & muddy places.

I have very short - to the ankle hunter rain boots in navy blue. I love them. I also have taller LL Bean boots that are 18 years old and in perfect condition. They have these great woolen liners, the bottom part is a rain boot type and the upper part is leather. I wear them in colder rainy weather. I also have the north face boots. They also have a sort of rain boot bottom, but are lined and quilted with some leather too. They are a complete PIA to get on, but super comfy once I can actually get my foot inside.

I have the glossy black Hunters. Check Lord and Taylor they always have a coupon around somewhere. I got mine on Piperlime when they had a 30% promo.

Me too. I have to say though I'm pretty tall (5'7") so they fit me perfect height wise. If I was under 5'5" I would probably order the ankle ones.

I was worried about this too so I almost ordered the kids ones. I called the website I got them from and they measured for me. I ended up with the adult ones. I'm 5'3" and they hit just below my knee. I have short legs too.

Check out Bloomies. They had great sales on boots yesterday and the SA gave an additional 15% off on top of it. It might have been a promotion I didn't know about.

I have Hunter boots. It's a riding boot style but it's not on the website anymore. I love them and get compliments on them every time I wear them.

I don't think rain boots are a fashion statement -  They're all ugly. Designer or not, their purpose is to have clean and dry feet-
I have 2 pair of hunters, I swear by them. I wear thema all year commuting to/from the city - rain, snow, nastiness ........they are 100% worth the price.

Mine are the Huntress boots (Hunter brand). They are a bit shorter so they fit me better.
