Questions about Vivelle patches

Has anyone had a bad reaction to them? I'm getting very red and sometimes even bleeding in the spots where the adhesive is around the edges.

Also, how long do you stay on Vivelle? I have my beta on Friday and I only have enough Vivelle patches to last until Wednesday. Let's say I get a positive beta on Friday, will I need more patches that night or will it be finished?

I'm pretty certain you will stay on the patches for a few more weeks if you get a positive beta. I didn't have a reaction like that. I would ask Dr. B about it. I did have a real hard time getting the adhesive off and it stayed a tiny bit red, but that looks worse than what I had.

Also I didn't have a reaction to them. You may be allergic. I did have trouble getting the adhesive off after taking the patch off though.

this happened to me too. and the spots got so itchy and irritated that i ended up having red patches on my belly for a month after i stopped using them. i believe i was able to stop around 9 or 10 weeks.
