Re: Question for those who have had healthy pregnancys after infertility

My diagnosis was tubal factor (1 blocked tube) and endometriosis. We did countless IUI (non medicated and medicated) and 3 IVF. I had 2 ectopic pregnancies and lost the blocked tube before we finally conceived.

Although my DS was not the direct result of IUI or IVF (conceived naturally during a IF break), I firmly believe that had I not received those treatments, I would have never had children. I think by removing that blocked tube and the endo, it allowed my body to finally start working properly. At least for that one cycle.

I had a slight case of PCOs but, it was mostly MF. I was told at first it was unexplained but, after changing drs I was told because of MF I would not conceive with a IUI so I went strait to IVF and am 21 wks.

We had following issues: me- PCOS, no ovulation, MTFHR, clotting and immune issues. DH- sperm issues ( low motility and count). had my son in dec 2011 after back to back medicated IUIs, was on lovenox, prednisone, metanx, baby aspirin, progesterone and did IVIG 2 times.

Re: Question for those who have had healthy pregnancys after infertility

Got PG on my own and m/c at 6 weeks. Then, I just couldn't get PG. Dx unexplained infertility. (I'm beginning to wonder if there is some Hashimoto's though b/c I have developed chronic hives. Thyroid levels look fine but it is autoimmune in nature and a thyroid antibody is fighting myself). Second IUI B2B and with Clomid, Trigger, and Omega 369 gave me my DD1. It was the second cycle after HSG. When she was 14 months old, and still on the Omega 369, we conceived our DD2 on our own on the first try! I had a much healthier PG the second time and I think it was because I stayed on the Omega the whole time...I didn't the first time.

Question for those who have had healthy pregnancys after infertility

DD1 was conceived via IVF after a MC and several failed cycles of clomid, IUI, IUI w/ injections, etc.

I was diagnosed with MTHFR after my MC. I also had Endometriosis, hypothyroidism and severe PCOS. I do not get AF on my own regularly. Maybe once or twice a year- if that. Same for ovulation.

ETA: My pregnancy with DD1 was successful, but not uneventful. I had a very large subchorionic hematoma at the beginning and it took two months to shrink. They were worried it would detach and take the baby with it, because it was very close to her. That consumed the beginning of the pregnancy. The end of it I had cholestasis of pregnancy. It was awful. I wouldn't wish it on anyone! I actually was induced 2 weeks early because it was so bad.

DD was miraculously conceived naturally. We weren't trying. I believe my first pregnancy alleviated my Endo, like my first OB said it would. That may have helped. Since having DD in March, I have gotten AF once.

Re: Question for those who have had healthy pregnancys after infertility

We have 2 girls 23 months and 2 months. I have pcos and I produce an antibody that kills sperm. Dh had a slight male factor with morphology. DD1 was connived after 7 months with the RE. She was convinced on our 3rd clomid iui cycle. Than when dd was 8 months old we got pregnant on our own and we werent ttc. That ph sadly ended in mc at 6 weeks. Our second dd was convinced on our first cycle back at the RE via iui/clomid.

Re: Question for those who have had healthy pregnancys after infertility

Our dx was male factor- low morph/motility, etc. We did 2 IUI cycles and then went to IVF/ICSI. Got pg with DS that cycle. Did not prevent after he was born, but still couldn't get pg on our own. We back to the RE a few times for FET's- needed a total of 4 FET's to get pg with DD.

DH and I had unexplained IF. We did 5 IUI's without success. First round of IVF worked and we had our DD in 2009. We did a FET last summer and now have a 4 month old DS.
