Question for moms who had newborn and older DC still in diapers
This is a weird question but do you change them on the same changing table or pad? My older DD is almost 2 and goes to daycare. I just came home from the hospital with newborn DS and I'm feeling like I don't think DD's changing table is clean enough for him. I've been changing him elsewhere and wondering if I'm being over the top. I never put a changing area in DD's "big girl room" and have been still using the nursery for her sleeping and diaper/clothes changing.
I could easily set up a changing station in her new room and probably will. Just wondering if others feel like it's too "dirty" to change both kids in the same place. Sorry if this sounds crazy, I haven't really slept more than 3 hours in the past 3 days.

Re: Question for moms who had newborn and older DC still in diapers
I never thought about it that way, but I had stopped using the se changing stations as soon asy DCs could roll over and try to crawl so that left only the newborn as being 'allowed' on the changing pad I will say, though, that I felt pressure to potty train the older ones whenever I brought the younger ones home from the hospital. Suddenly the diapers of a 20mo seemed much grosser after changing a newborn's diaper

I change my kids where ever(couch, bed, floor). Never used a changing table. I also change them in public restrooms on changing tables that tons of babies have used. Never saw a problem with this.

same one...
But in the very beginning..i had the pack and play set up with the attached changing station down stairs so I changed my NB on that during the day when we were downstairs...but not my toddler that was too heavy for that....but if we were upstairs - same changing table...if i got poop on the pad, i changed it...if not same pad for both!

We always used the same one, but older DC wasn't in daycare so that wasn't a concern for us.
