Newborn moms- a question!

Just wondering what you are putting your baby to sleep in? Light PJs? blanket? Terry cloth? Fleece? Are you using a blanket as well? How warm is the room they are sleeping in? TIA!

I put him in a longsleeved onsie and the halo sleep sack. His room is not that warm because it is all "ouside walls" of the house. The baby moniter usually reads @ 66 degrees

DSs room is kind of chilly, so when he was a newborn last year he slept in a fleece sleepsack, warm pjs, and a onesie. We're doing the same this year, or layering pjs.

I keep my house at about 68. DS is always in the feety pj's (cotton or terry) with the cotton or fleece sleep sack. He's worn the same thing all year round.

It depends how cold it is... either a long sleeve onsie and wrapped in a miracle blanket or pj's or a sleep sack wrapped in a miracle blanket

Re: Newborn moms- a question!

most nights, DS goes to bed in cotton pajamas and a fleece swaddle me. on the nights i put him in fleece pajamas, he gets a cotton swaddle me so he doesn't get too hot.

tonight he is in a long-sleeved onesie and cotton pants because i was too lazy to put him in pajamas Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

we keep the heat around 66, 67 degrees at night because our bedrooms are small and keep the heat in well. i have never noticed him to be either cold or hot when he wakes up - just a normal temp. maybe a little warm on his back but i think that's normal for sleeping.

We keep our house cold, about 64 degrees at night. (I hate heat) She wears her Carters fleece PJ's with the fleece Sleep Sack and I use her little socks on her hands to keep them warm and to keep her sleeves from riding up making her arms cold. She always wakes up in the morning nice and warm but not sweaty at all.

Re: Newborn moms- a question!

We like it cold. I love the feeling of cuddling into blankets. so we turn down the heat at night.

She sleeps in footsie outfits or long sleeve onsies with pants and socks. She always kicked her arms out so she's covered from the waist down with blankets.

She sleeps with us in a snuggle nest between us so she actually shares our blankets! Chat Icon

Lightweight zippered onesie and a SwaddleMe. We keep our heat on 68 and a ceiling fan on low.
