Question about TTC...
So I was wondering, while u are TTC do u take advil, eat sushi etc... I know once u are pregnant u are not suppose to--but for example I am in the 2ww--does that count for not taking or eating certain things?? TIA!!!!

You can continue with everything you would normally do while TTC and in the 2WW.

My doctor told me not to take advil while ttc. He gave me a valid reason why, I just cant remember what it is.

Tylenol is ok to take while pg so if you feel uncomfortable taking advil then try the tylenol.
FYI- you don't share a blood supply with the fetus until 5 weeks.

Actually, Advil is the only thing I have changed. It has something to do with affecting implantation and your blood clotting.....you can take Tylenol, though. There was a recent study that came out about the incidence of m/c in women who take ibuprofen.
I agree that you can't drive yourself crazy with this kind of stuff, though. For me, taking Tylenol instead od Advil makes no difference, so I will do it. Other than that, I am just living life as I always do. What will be, will be!

I ate sushi the night before I got a BFP, had alcohol during the 2WW, etc. Avoiding advil was one of the only things I did differently during the 2WW. I knew it was bad to take while pregnant. I don't know if it really has an effect during TTC, but I didn't want to take the chance. Tylenol is ok though.

only thing i try to avoid in the 2WW is Advil.. and like the other ladies said you dont share blood yet..
but i just try to be careful i guess.. it doesnt hurt... but everything else like caffeine, socially drinking i still do!
