question about opk's

this is my first month using opk's. according to mymonthlycycles I am not supposed to ovulate until saturday, but I decided to check today just to be on the safe side. This morning I tested and I had a line much lighter than the control. However, I just tested again(I'm obsessed and have no life I guess) and the lines are the same. Is this possible?

I think anything is possible. I had a crazy time with OPK's this month. They were getting darker and darker, not quite as dark as the control line, then...poof....the test line vanished and never came back! Weird.

This whole process is so complicated. I had no idea and to think all those years I worried about birth control and getting pregnant.

It definately can be possible since you are not suppose to use FMU on an OPK test. So if you tested in the AM, your reading may not be accurate. You should be testing anywhere form 2-8 (best time).

I think it could be possible. You might have just caught the begining of your surge. I know your frustration. I've had too much trouble trying to figure out those OPK the last few months. It drove me crazy. I switched to the happy face ones this month.
