Question about O
So I got my AF two days early this month...so techinically I should O 14 days from CD1, I'm very in tune with my body, my cycles are normally exactly 28 days, this month I had a UTI and I think that's what screwed up AF...I've been taking OPK's and no smiley yet, according to the 14 day rule I should be Oing on Friday and probably should have gotten my first smiley today...do you think O will be back to my "normal" time as my body may be re-regulating it's self back to my normal 28 day cycle???

Re: Question about O
This happens to me. I am pretty regular, but I got my period a day late last month, and it arrived a day early this month. It's like it was balancing itself out. Also, I don't get my smiley until the day I O, or at the earliest the day before. So you still may O this Friday.
ETA: I know this b/c I've been temping too. and my temperature rise usually occurs the day I get my

Just because you have a 28 day cycle doesn't mean you are going to ovulate 14 days after your AF (or before). It's difficult to pinpoint ovulation because there can be many delays due to stress, weight loss/gain, environment, etc. My ovulation window is 5 days. I have ovulated as early as CD15 and as late as CD20. However...it's fairly easy to pinpoint when you will get your AF once ovulation is confirmed. My luteal phase (from O to AF) is between 11 and 12 days. Most likely you ovulated early last month. Question though...if you always ovulate at CD14 and predict you will ovulate on friday, shouldn't you be getting your smiley tomorrow? (1 day before ovulation)

I usually ovulate around day 14...so possibly could get my smiley tomorrow..but normally I get it for two days in a row before ovulation and ovulate the day after my last smiley...that's why I was a bit confused...
