Question about HCG Levels
I went to my regular doctor the other night for sometihing totally unrelated to TTC. My doctor wanted to put me on antiibiotic, but when I told her I was TTC, she ordered a blood test. Well, yesterday she calls me and tells me that my HGC level is at 5, which is right on the cusp! I was only 5 DPO at the time of the blood test. My doctor doesn't want me to take the antibiotic and retest in another 10 days because there's a possiblity that I "could" be pregnant. So my question is has anyone experienced this or know anyone who has? I'm trying so hard not to get exciited, but it's so hard. I just thought that being my levels were at 5 at 5 DPO that that was a good sign. I just hope they continue to up

5 is considered the borderline of pregnant! I believe your HCG is supposed to double every 2 days so if you test with a very sensitive test in a few days you may be able to register a BFP!!
Edit: Saw that was at 5dpo. So... estimating that they double every 2 days, that would put you at ~10 7dpo, ~20 9dpo, ~30 10dpo, ~40 11dpo, ~60 12dpo, although sometimes they double even more quickly!

Do you mean a HPT? which one is a really good one? Right now, I"m at about 7 DPO.

Today is about 7DPO. I do have very short cycles though, 25.
