Question about claiming your house on your taxes

So Im sure I should know this but please bear with me. Im clueless!Chat Icon

We bought our house 1/28/09. This is the first year we can file as homeowners. We plan on filing through Turbo Tax once our W2's come in.

I know you can claim your interest on your taxes (which right now seems to be 90% of my payment Chat Icon). Do you usually receive a form or formal document from your mortgage company breaking this out for you at the end of the year? How do I know how much interest to write in?
