We found another house in the area we want at a lower price then the one we like but it in the area we don't "love" the problem is the taxes are HIGH. I realize you can get a star rebate but I was trying to figure out how this person's taxes are higher then my parents and they live in the village and have a house MUCH larger then them.

So anyone get their house re-evaluated for taxes? IF so how much does this cost?
