Re: Question ...
Posted by BA2008
OMG - yes, HOW????
This is sad but when I got pregnant naturally after the HSG test, I had just consulted with San Roman (actually was pregnant at consult but didn't know it), I remember thinking how lucky I was. I don't have to use the doctors etc... And then like the next second I had my m/c. And now its 4 years later and I'm still here.
I think the question is....HOW DO WE GET OUT OF HERE????????????

Re: Question ...
I shared a secret with my therapist Monday that I'll tell you all.
Since I've been 12-13, I decided I would never take birth control pills. My aunt and mom used to say "it can't be natural to trick the body into thinking it's pregnant". I firmly believed that BCP would cause me to not be able to have kids. My WORST FEAR.
Now look at me. Here I am, never took a pill, never smoked a joint, I did everything right, and I cannot get pregnant.

Re: Question ...
Yes all the time. But now I ask God to get me out. IF sucks.
Honestly though I do think it has a lot to do with our enviroment, the crap that they put in our foods, etc.
Its amazing how many young people I know that have issues getting and/or staying pregnant. It baffles me.

Re: Question ...
You know, you guys bring up the environment and processed foods, but here's something I haven't found studies on, and I never hear mentioned:
Everything we eat, ingest, drink, and put into or ONto our bodies- is IN PLASTIC.
We used to have glass jars, metal cans and paper cartons. Now, everything is plastic. And God only knows what's in the cheaper plastic that these billion-dollar corporations are using for more profits.
Why isn't anyone researching this?

Re: Question ...
I am so sorry that you are all still struggling with this. It hurts me to see you blame youself or ask what you did to deserve this. I hope you dont mind me crashing but I was here with you ladies for a short amount of time. Mainly because I didnt sign up for LIF until my IF issue was near it's end. I can remember asking why us? Why cant it just happen like it does for everyone else? It can be so unfair to watch other couples basically look at eachother in a certain way and get pregnant. You ladies are the ones who deserve it more than anyone. You are the ones trying so hard to get it. You will appreciate it so much more when it does happen for you which I really hope for all of you that it does. I know you've heard it so many times but it's not your fault. You are all so strong. I dont know if I would be able to do as much as you ladies are doing. I think if I didnt get PG on my own, like I did, I would have tried IVF a time or 2 but then probably given up. I read your stories and know that I am not as strong as you ladies are. I look up to you for doing as much as you are. I wish so much that you ladies will get your BFP and it stick.

There have been studies which is why certain things like BPA have been removed from so many products. I for 1 don't cook anything in plastic anymore. I won't even heat up something in the microwave. I do believe there is a link between all of it. Of and cans can leach chemicals into foods also.

There is research on it. And guess what....most of the chemicals in plastics are endocrine disruptors, which screw up your hormones. That's why water bottles are only meant to be used once. Also why you're never supposed to heat up in foods in plastic or freeze foods in plastic. Not only that, but the chemicals under the sink, in furniture, mattresses, couches, carpets. It's all connected IMO. The rates for infertility are THROUGH THE ROOF, and there's like 100,000 MORE chemicals used in everyday items now than there was in 1970. Scary thought
I forgot to add register tape. There's BPA in register tape. WHY???? They know what this does to our bodies. That's why I called them a$$holes

Believe it or not, I have made serious efforts to cut out plastic or at least BPA and its almost impossible. Maybe you are fine when you are home. But, then you go out and you have no idea what they store the food in you are eating at a restaurant or even how the supermarket transported your food. I stopped using the micro wave a year ago and then I'll go somewhere and I know they used the micro wave (I mean my parents house or a friends house). I changed all my cleaning products to as non-invasive chemicals as I could (they don't clean my bathroom as good). I try to only eat organic...so hard. Its everywhere. I do want to change my bed and bedding. Its like the world is against you and forget about trying to explain to someone what you are doing. Our world is built on greed not health. Though that is slowly changing, but is it too late? You would not believe how many people I know (about 6-my Father included) this year that have been diagnosed with cancer. And most of them are my age or younger. Something is not right.
Shoot the inside of our refrigerators, our cars and our toothbrush are all plastic.
Sorry...I'm very passionate about all this. My DH and I are trying to grow all our own food (organic of course) and we have been to so many courses about that and also bio dynamic. Our garden this year was a total failure. But, we're ready to try again.
