QOTD Friday 7.9.10
Ok yesterdays question was about looks so for Today's ...
What personality traits would you like to pass on to LO from you and/or DH? And which would you prefer to disappear?
I am very independent strong person and I would love for a DC to have those traits from me. From DH I would like his patience.
On the traits I would like to have disappear are from Me I am OCD and things must be a certain way. DH is a bit of a worrier and chews his fingernails to nearly nothings. That can go away!!!

DH is the kindest, most patient person I know. I'd love for our LO to be like that. And I never had to worry about grades in school because I did well without much studying - I think my job as a parent would be a little easier if my kids were as lucky!
As for what I wouldn't like to pass on... I'm such a constant worrier that I almost can't enjoy things in life because I'm "waiting for the other shoe to drop," as my mom would say. I'd be sad if my kids were like that.

I would like to pass on COMMON SENSE to LO  DH and his family all lack that...I am very high strung and would not like to pass that on..
For him I would not pass on his nervousness.....and I would like him to pass on his patience.

I'm a bit OCD sometimes. I can't rest until something is done. DH is a little messy. I think our DC might stand a chance if it were somewhere in between. 
I would want our DC to have my drive and his patience.

I would love for LO to be responsible like me and family oriented like DH
But LO can do without my worrying personality and DH fears (needles, heights etc)

DH is very OCD - and it seems DC #1 may have gotten some of it. I'd like it to skip our next child 
DH is very patient I would love for our next child to be more laid back.
DC#1 looks like my twin but I haven't noticed any of my personality traits in DC#1 yet. I hope our next gets my outgoing/talk to the wall/personality.
