Good Morning All!
Almost forgot I had to post this 
As I was sitting at the Dairy Queen Drive in with my DH last night we both started talking about how we really have to change our eating habits when we have kids (or actually BEFORE) we have kids because we don't want them to be little porkers like us. But it got me thinking...and thus, on to the Question of the Day:
What is something that you do now, or DON'T do now, that you would like to instill in your future LO (i.e. good eating habits, love of the arts, being active)

For us we would like to help them eat healthy and be active, and take an active role ourselves in being an example to them. And also a love of music as we are both very musical people.

I want my children to be active is=n sports/dance or whatever they like that keeps them moving. I would support any creative interests they have music, art. we eat pretty healthy and splurge sometimes... I plan to do the same with our LO's! Everyone needs that treat once in a while, just not everyday.
Pretty much as long as its good for their body, mind and belly and it interests them, I will support it! I will also support them doing anything safe that is fun and makes them happy!

For right now, it tends to be pretty late by the time we eat dinner so we usually end up in front of the tv. I definitely want to eat as a family at the table when we have LO's. I don't think we'll need to change what we eat, just how we do it!

i think being obessed with the scale..its horrendous.. I watch the scale like a hawk.. increasing/decreasing workout and food depending.. and that's how I lost weight and maintained it for the past 3 years.. I don't want that for my kids..

i would like have family dinner where we will eat at the kitchen table, we eat in front of the tv now. Also I want them to be active as a child I was skinny because I never stopped moving and gained weight as an adult. I don't want my kids to be like that.

i definitely want to be more active when we have our LO, and I want to start making every meal and making sure we all sit down and have a family meal at dinner.

i would lve for them to be into sports cause dh and i are athletic..but all i really want is for them to be happy and be themselves and never be ashamed of who or what they want to be

One thing that I'd like to change is eating at the table as a family and doing more vacations.
