QOTD 6/19/11
Thank you to addingonemore for picking me this week!
Happy Fathers Day!! 
How do you think DH will want to celebrate fathers day when you have a baby?
My DHs dad passed away 5 years ago so we spend it with my dad and brother-in-law. I dont really think that will change but hopefully I can make it special for him with breakfast in bed or just letting him have the day to relax and watch baseball.

Nothing major im sure. We never did anything big for my dad but we did buy him gifts. We prob. would just go out for dinner and have the LO make him something special

Great question!
I'm guessing he'll want to celebrate the same way we do with both of our dads now. Spending an afternoon on the boat with my parents and maybe heading to the beach. I know he'll want to spend a day or two upstate taking the LO's canoeing and fishing when they're old enough!

DH's dad passed away a few years ago. He gets along great with my dad and family and since his is pretty small and spread out we do a nice family day with my parents and sister.

Yes! I completely agree that we have to put the positive thoughts out there. I believe that next year we'll be celebrating both Mother's day and Father's day

I am thinking the same here! If it involves family, BBQ, beach/pool its what we do now and DHs fav way to spend summer wknds!
