I'm biased but Make A Wish.
one of my best friend's and MOH's nephew was just granted his wish from this foundation. He has cancer of the soft tissue. It's all over... his lunges, bones, stomach, etc. He has a 50/50 survival rate. He is 5 years old. It's so sad.
He wished to go to Disney and ride the parade with Mickey.
Ummmm Disney in FL or Disney in CA? Cause I worked kind of as an ambassador to the make a wish kids and dreams take flight (the canadian equivalent) to all those kids when they came to CA and I also used to escort the grand marshall in parades. I wonder if he was one of mine????
To be honest.... I've never been to either one... so I'm not 100% positive.. but I'm assuming it's Florida! And the grand marshall thing I think was it too. He hasn't gone yet. His wish was just granted MAYBE a month ago.. probably less. He's really sick... but slowly getting better. He has over 50 weeks of treatement left.
That MUST have been a very fulfilliny job to have... yet also somewhat difficult to see sick kids. It's always so sad.

Oh, definitely not me then but I wonder if I know who his ambassador was. Either way, that's so sad but I know the kind of magic that Disney can bring kids, sick or not. I will keep this little angel in my prayers!
