QOTD 1/26/10

Getting a jump start on this since I have a meeting first thing in the morning and probably won't be able to sneak on...

Pretend for a moment that you live in a perfect world where you could conceive on the first try (if only that were true for all of us!). When would be the ideal time for you to have a baby? Is there a particular month or season?

For me I always knew I didn't want to be like 7-9 months PG in the summer. I also would want a Spring baby, like I was! If I could choose a month, I would choose early May. It's not near any major gift-giving holidays or any family birthdays and the weather would be comfortable. I'm all about comfort!

But in reality, I'll take what I can get!

Any season but winter but if I get pregnant soon she/he will be a winter baby. I'm a feb baby and it always rains or snows on my birthday. I've always been jealous of others who could always have outdoor parties.

I always wanted Spring/Summer... now Im totally thrilled if I have a Fall baby. A winter baby might be tough with not being able to take him/her out for a while.. but believe me, I'd love to have a baby any time of year..

i would choose april, may, or june. even though our anniversary is in may, i'd want my newborn in milder weather. as opposed to this shiz.

I was hoping for a sept/oct baby.

With #1 i was hoping for a spring baby and i got just that- June. Perfect time to have a baby for your 1st one.

late spring/early summer so that i could take the summer off for maternity leave and be able to go outside with the baby rather than being couped up inside.

Well, having the miserable experience of being pregnant in the summer (my DD was born 9/19) I would say that giving birth anytime BEFORE the summer would be ideal. 8-9 months pregnant in the summer (which I HATE anyway!) really wasn't on the top of my list of fun things to try.

I was an August baby and hated that i couldnt have a party in school...but now as an adult I love hvaing a summer bday! If i had to choose now i would love a Fall baby...September or October...I just love the Fall!!

I would have liked a spring baby, since my inlaws all have birthdays around november/december and I'm all the way in April. LOL.

I think I would have to say April or May. I would not want to be pregnant during the summer months - especially if it was a summer as hot as last summer. Plus, I think it would be fun to be couped up at home on a day like today. Having said that, I would just be say happy to be pregnant anytime.

I'd be over the moon for a Fall (pref late Sept / early Oct) baby! I love the season and there are still days left where you can take the baby out so you are not completely home bound. My other choice would be a June baby. Thats when i was born and think that its the perfect time frame to be preggers and then have a newborn.

I love the Fall.. so it would be nice My friend had a June baby this year and we had the most brutal, brutal summer ever.. so she didn't take her DD out at all and she was all uncomfy and stuff..

anyway... if this cycle works id be preggo during the summer which would really suck... but luckily one of my besties is trying for #2 right now as well.... hopefully we can go through it together

I would love to have a baby anywhere between Feb and June.

I think May would be ideal but right now I am looking at Oct, Nov, Dec due dates, ickkk...me no likey!
