*QOTD - 9/8*

I remember when I first joined TTC board someone had done this has a QOTD. However, I figured since there are so many new faces here I'd do it again!

Tell us 5 interesting facts about yourself.


1. I lost (and kept off) 60lbs 3 years ago on Weight Watchers.

2. I'm a morning person. I wake up at 6:30, even on my days off!

3. I've run two half marathons and would have loved to continue until I hurt my knee at the beginning of this year.

4. I'm a High School Special Ed. teacher and I absolutely love my job.

5. We're getting a new puppy in a few weeks (retriever/spaniel mix) and I'm so excited!

1 - I had open heart surgery at 5.5 months old and have staples in my heart.

2 - i absolutely hate exercising and wish that Colleen could rub off on me a little

3 - I absolutely LOVE to cook

4 - I love the Caribbean/beach/palm trees/pools/summer

5 - Dh and I are huge dave matthews fans and go to shows wherever and whenever we can!

1. I am a Social Worker...and love bad *** adolescents!
2. I am a couponer....binder and all! (Can't wait to start hoarding diapers :))
3. I have a hard time spending large amounts of time with most people.
4. Growing up I never believed in marriage or having kids....and here I am :)
5. I wasn't a "kid person" until my 2nd internship where I worked in the elementary school....but it is a learned behavior for me...not natural. My job now is primarily working with kids!

1. I work three jobs - I am a social worker, a WW Leader (lost 46 pounds 4 years ago), and started my own event planning company last year.

2. I was a dancer all my life from ages 3 to 21.

3. I broke my two front teeth in 7th grade after falling off a human pyramid.

4. DH and I met when we were set up on a blind date....by our mothers.....almost 12 years ago

5. I have three pets, all reptiles. Two bearded dragons and an iguana.

1) I don’t know what it is about me, but all my life-my pets ONLY want to be around me when they get scared. It’s a little weird, but I sorta like it.

2) I hate going out-except if it’s to dinner or a movie with DH. I really enjoy being home.

3) I was in my 30’s when I got my driver’s license.

4) I am the weirdest/quirkiest person I know- by faaaaaar.

5) I am TTC since December of 2010 and doubt that decision almost every.single.day.

1) I come from a family whose names mostly begin with K (there's 17 of us )

2) My cousin is Pat Benetar

3) I love photography, and have been debating whether or not to open up my own business

4) I'm a cat person- dogs aren't my cup of tea.

5) there's a 10 year age gap between myself and my DH

1- Im a natural blonde

2- Recently learned that the good old days of being lazy and watching TV all day are over for me- I actually get bored.

3-I have 2 puggles that I love very much.

4- I love Winnie-the-Pooh and that was my theme for my nursery almost 37 yrs ago Thanks to my daddy, that I love and miss.

5- I have a 16yr old son that I love to death and am very proud of for many, many reasons.

6- Before my husband and I met I saw him in the bar we used to hangout at and told my friends one day I will meet that guy

1. I have a "fear" of pickles. I'm not scared of them in the sense that I will run away (unless someone chases me with one ) but I am completely disgusted by the smell and taste. If there is a pickle on my plate, someone has to remove it or if I'm alone, I grab a wad of napkins to grab it. Then I cover the surrounding area with napkins to absorb any juice and I won't eat anything that was near that area unless I smell it first.

2. DH and I will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary on Monday!

3. We are in contract to buy a house .

4. I have an online shopping addiction and I've been going through withdrawals since we decided to buy a house.

5. My DH is truly the best guy ever because he puts up with all of my BS. He really takes cares of me and I don't know how I could survive without him in my life.
