we all, unfortunately, probably have things we regret doing... what is something you regret that you would go back in time & change if you could?

As for me, I'd go back to when DH & I were first dating... at that point I had a circle of friends who were all single. they would always go out to bars & party & look for guys (me included before DH came along). once I started dating DH, I obv wasn't into that scene anymore...I didnt want to/had no need to go out guy-searching anymore so I sort of let go of those friendships bc I was in a totally different place in my life than them at that point. I am still friends with these girls, but I think I should've made more of an effort to remain close with them. I see how close they all are (they eventually all found boyfriends/husbands several years later, all around the same time) & I sort of feel left out that I am not as close with them as I was 10+ years ago. But by the same token, if that's what I had to "sacrifice" for the relationship I have with DH, then I wouldn't change a thing!

Wow there are many things. But my two biggest regrets will always be leaving my mom at the hospital when she had cancer to go finish finals at school. No one told me how really sick she was , I also was in complete denial and a couple of days before my finals actually started she passed away.

The other was dating my ex. He was mental and put me through so much. I will always have phychological scars bc of him but that TERRIBLE relationship also made me realize how good I now have it with dh.

Not going away to school for to stay close the idiot boyfriend I dated for 6.5 years who only wanted to play video games and didn't have his license until the last year we were together so I was always driving him everywhere.
Still don't know why it took me so long to open my eyes

There are so many things I would change!!! I would like to go back to when I was 17 and make the right descion about my career. I am stuck at a secretary job. At 17 I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. My parents made me go to college so I kept switching majors and eventually I dropped out and worked 2 jobs to pay off bills and my own car insurance. If give n the chance I would of loved to be a teacher. Another thing I would change is the circle of friends I had in HS. I fell in with the wrong crowd and ditched allot of close friends. Now I know it was not worth it!! Another thing I would change is dancing with my grandfather his 50th wedding anniversary. I know I was just a young teenager and I was sick that night but I had no idea that I wouldn't get a chance to later in life. He died a year and half later! ..If only I had a flux capacitor!!!!..LOL
