Putting in Lights in Ceiling and Electrician

My living room has no ceiling lights, I love lamps but getting tired of putting on 4 lamps everyday and it's still not bright enough! I am thinking of hiring an electrician to wire something like high hats or just a light and/or fan fixture in the middle of the ceiling. Does anyone know how much can this cost?

could be around $100-200 per high hat - depends how many lights u want, the size of them, how easy is it to run wiring to the panel, etc..

One light with a fan would probably be less expensive maybe just a couple hundred b/c it is less work.

your best bet is too get a few estimates and go with who is cheapest, and check the better business bureau...
