She doesn't bother me as much as some of the people on the show! I cannot stand when they complain about the master bathroom being small when it's the size of my bedroom, and they paid $400 less than what we spent

I really like the show and her. I wish I had someone like that with me, maybe I wouldn't be stuck in my crappy condo if I had advice from someone like her.

I love that show! And I really like her. She really knows her stuff. I don't think she is snotty at all. AND I love the way she dresses 
me too i like her a lot and i always check out her wardrobes. i think shes a good dresser! She's Canadian for those that don't like her accent. I like it though

Yeah she doesn't bother me but I do get SO annoyed by the buyers who are don't like the house because one of the walls is pink or something inane like that.
I also about what you can get for your money in other places but that's my issue not the show's

YES!!!! I find her very annoying too.
Hate her she's so condescending. But I also hate most of teh buyers but for some reason I still watch the show

i actually really like her and think she knows her stuff. when i first started watching though, i didn't like her, but she grew on me. some of the buyers though are awful and i just want to punch them.

We watch this show everyday. I love it. I think Sandra is great, but those buyers are sometimes waaaaay out of touch with reality.

I LOVE Sandra and her accent! She knows what she is talking about. It's really interesting to see how deluded people are or how little they have to put down.

I watched this show and I can't stand the buyers more so than her. The buyers are all snooty, stuck up, and did not know what they want. She does have an annoying accent but I don't have an issue watching her. I find the show very interesting.

it depends on the market. down here in the DC area, it is very common to get seller consessions of 3%. we got 3% and it covered all of our closing costs and pre-paids. in the end, we only had to put down our down payment!
same here - we got 3% concession which covered all of our closing costs...but we had to put in a higher bid for the house to get the 3% concession so for us it wa like financing the closing into our mortgage instead of paying it upfront....

gotcha... sounds like a good plan... otherwise, a good portion of our dp is going to closing costs... LI is unreal any way you look at it... even in this market...

I happen to love Sandra and this show.. i think it's really helpful to first time buyers - we've recommended watching it to several of our friends who are first time buyers and they all loved it!
I also don't find her condescending at all - some of these buyers need someone to be realistic with the and tell them that they can't always get what they want for the money they have. She gives great advice and always tries to point out the good and bad points of each house to the buyers to help them make a decision.
as for her accent..she's Canadian, so of course she pronounces house as hooooouse!
