Re: progesterone suppositories
They had me start mine 1 week after my IUI. I'm going to ask today to see if they want me to do the same this time around.
I didn't find the suppositories as awful as others said, but they are annoying. Definitely put it in right before you lay down to go to bed. Basically, you just take it and push it up as far as you can. Wear a pantyliner. There is some white leakage, but I only had real notable annoyance from it one night. I can see them being much more annoying if you have to take them during the day as well.
It's amazing the things we do in order to try and have a baby! Good luck!

Re: progesterone suppositories
Sandra told me to start with the suppositories one week after of my second IUI. Dr. B has me on Crinone and they need to be done in the morning. They are really easy to deal with, just make sure that that you wear a pad b/c there is some discharge.
Good Luck!!!

Agreed! Also, I personally prefer Crinone. If there is a future cycle (though hopefully this one is it!!!! ) I would ask for the Crinone instead as long as it's covered under your insurance! It comes in an applicator and is cleaner and just more pleasant, in my experience!

Re: progesterone suppositories
i would def get crinone if you can, its SO much better than the supps. the supps are pretty gross. i had to do two when i did them so i did one at night and another towards the morning but not when i woke up for work cause they are messy. i always tried to do them and immediately lay down for at least an hour... it helped with the leakage.. but if you can get crinone, theres MUCH less leakage with that so i would go for that if you can. i always started them 3 days after trigger and we never did IUIs so it was about 1DPO.

Re: progesterone suppositories
I had to start the suppositories the night after the 2 IUI. I would definitely call up and ask just to be sure. My experience with the suppositories was really not that bad. But then again I never tried the Crinone so I have nothing to compare them to.
