Progesterone ?? please help!

Hi! So dh and I just started ttc this past cycle..opk's , the whole deal...just got af today....which is fine...we just started. However, I started spotting on Sept 5th!!!! I thought maybe it was implantation as I did have that w/ my last preg but once it lasted more than three days I knew that wasn't it. My concern is that I have read that spotting before a period can indicate low progesterone...which will keep you from getting pregnant/keep you from staying pregnant. I did have low progesterone w/ my son but I found out after I was pregnant and started supp then. I am confident that I don't have any major issues going on as I had a hysteroscopy and sonogram done in early aug b/c I would sometimes spot a few days after my period ended...everything came back normal. I should also add that I got pregnant immediately w/ my son and then immediately last year but last year's pregnancy ended in m/c at 20 wks They found out that I have a blood clotting disorder...I feel like my whole body has been seriously out of whack since the loss. Dr's say that is normal. Do you think I should call the dr's and ask to be put on prog or wait a few more months.

You should at least have the doctor test your progesterone. He can do a simple blood test 7 days after you ovulate and you'll know if you need supplements or not. I had low progesterone and took clomid to correct for it as well as progesterone supplements starting the day I O'd. I got a BFP the second month of this process. Good luck!
