Progesterone injection
Does anyone have sore a$$ from the progesterone injection? It's starting to make me walk funny

Massage your butt for a few minutes after injection and you won't have any soreness! I did those for 7 weeks and was never sore. Good luck!

I put an ice pack on and it helped. Those suckers hurt!

Have Olga show your DH how to "dart" the needle as opposed to a slow injection. HUGE help! GOOD LUCK

I did and then it was itchy(allergic?)  but I found that if i heated a wash cloth as hot as i could and then put it on the injection site before the alchol wipe then put the syringe in the towel till it was a bit warm, the heat made it not bruise or lump up. I have to say it still itches still after. Its not as bad as it seems after the first one it gets better. I swear

Thanks for all your suggestions.
I don't really bruise from the injection. DH does rub the area for about 5 minutes after he darts in the progesterone. The weirdest thing is that only my right butt hurts but not left! UGH.....
I'm going to try and do the warm cloth before the injection.

I would ice the area prior to injection. I wouldn't even feel the injection when DH gave it to me. I will say that I did feel a little soreness the day after, nothing too bad though.
