Pregnant with Friends?
If you are pregnant with any of your friends, do you share your registry items or give each other advise on what to get? Or do you feel like you want to have different stuff? My girlfriend and I are 2 weeks apart and we haven't talked about it which is feels odd, bc we should be rambling on since I am sure we are both consumed with baby thoughts!

Sorry I am not pregnant with any friends.... outside of the cyberfriends that I have here 
but if I did have friends around that were pregnant too - I would probably be bouncing ideas around all day long - unless we had totally different views/opinions on these things....

I'm pregnant with 2 friends, one is also my husbands cousins wife (csorisi). It's been great. We are all 2 weeks apart one 2 weeks before me, one 2 weeks after. It's been wonderful, we share complaints, registries, questions, everything!

I have to agree it has been great. I also feel that we have some of the same things on our registery and some of the things we have are completely different because we have different tastes. It has been VERY helpful going through everything with someone else and both enjoying it together especially birthing class.

I am pregnant with about 10 friends...this year, in my group, we have a baby being born every month, and in May & June, I believe there are two babies being born!
Helps that all my friends are Mommies having their second babies!!!
Its great fun to compare bumps though!

i am PG with my SIL. she is due a week before me. i have taken a look at her registery... and while it gave me ideas, she is married to some BIG bucks and her in-laws have big bucks.... DH and I however, do not hang with people that can buy us a $300.00 car seat and a $700 stroller!!!

I am PG with my SIL also, she is due 8 weeks after me, but this is also her 2nd. We do still share ideas on names, furniture & I can always bounce questions off of her about registry items since she has done this before. I do find her asking me more questions though since she is behind me & doesn't recall her last pregnancy as much (over 3 years ago)

Yes very true...we talk about registries and showers, and family over cpk pizza...very yummy, and something we must do again when you are off in april.

im pg with SIL too. shes a few weeks ahead of me. she's been great giving me a heads up on what to expect at dr's appts and stuff. but we dont talk about baby products at all...at least not yet since im only 10 weeks. i think she kind of wants everything to be a surprise anyway which i can respect. no biggie, i kind of like the idea of having different stuff for the kids.

not really PG with any friends... DH's friend and his wife are expecting 2 weeks before us, but they don't live too close, so it's not like we hang out or talk much. It would be nice though!

I was pregnant with one of my close gf, number 2 for her, first for me. I loved it! We also work together, so we were like two preggo watching out for each other. I got a lot of valuable advices from her

None of my immediate close friends are pregnant, although one of my BF's had a baby in October, so I do go to her for some advice.
But alot of DH's friend's wives are pregnant and I've since become alot closer with them, discussing much of the same things as on this board. But I would think as far as registry items are concerned if I found something that I loved at a great price I would definitely want to share the info!

My sister's close friend is due just a few days after me and we've kept in touch by email since we live far from eachother. It's pretty basic since we were never really close friends but we do chat about lots of baby items, registeries, etc.

My best friend is due three months before me, and my cousin is due in 2 months, plus 2 of my husband's friends wives are pregnant!
I really have not discussed registry items with anyone though

I was in a maternity store yesterday and there were 2 friends shopping together and talking about what they were packing for the hospital and other things like that. I thought that was so nice.
It made me wish I had a pregnant friend

I actually had a pregnant friend come into my life.
We were really close in high school and parted ways after graduation. I hadn't seen or spoken to her in about 6 years, and she just moved into the complex I live in and is 4 doors down!
She is about 10 weeks ahead of me

awww i wish ihad a preggo buddy too
my one friend gave birth last week and im not due until august so we were apart & i know a couple of ladies that are pregnant and expecting but none of my close friends

i dont feel like i "want to have different stuff"... i want to have the stuff i want for my baby- whether my friend has picked the same thing out is not important...
also dh's cousin is pregnant- so im curious what she's picking out- but just to see what her style is

i'm preggos with katie (asecretmommytobe) and i think we have different taste (slightly) but we both give advice on the registries and i think it's great! i'm so glad i have her to be preggo with!

I was pregnant with a friend and we were 2 weeks apart. We compared registeries and took classes at the hospital together. It was fun.
I don't have anyone close to me pregnant this time around! I wish I did!
