I def. feel this way but have not bought the book because I am afraid of jinxing it as well. Doesn't stop me from picking it up in the store and reading a few pages.

I'm a sports fan... huge hockey fan... superstitions can sometimes run my life... i would definitely wait...
I waited to buy the shirt for my dog that shes going to be a big sister... i actally am still waiting... im not going to buy it for a few more weeks yet...

I am not at all superstitious, but I haven't gotten any yet. I have about $100 worth of pregnancy books in my amazon cart though. I did sign up for some free pregnancy/parenting magazines a month ago, and they started coming this week. Well, DH just reminded me that we know our mailman, he also works with DH, so now he must think we are pregnant. Gotta love small towns,

I want What to Expect.., Belly Laughs and Baby Laughs, a diet book, an organizer (I like 40 weeks +), a book for DH, and Happiest Baby on the Block. The Mayo Clinic one also has great ratings.

I was superstitious, so for that reason I didn't, However now that I look back on it I wish I did. A lot of those books are not just pregnancy. They give tips for TTC too, how to prepare for pregnancy and the weeks you first get your BFP. So in many ways I wish I had bought it beforehand!

im not superstitious.. but i haven't bought any books because it's just a reminder of how long we've been on this ttc journey (year and a half at least) and what we don't have yet.
so until we actually can get there, i don't look at any books, baby clothes, nursery items etc. 
i did in the beginning though when i was super excited about starting to ttc
