Preggers
SO last night-I took a test and I'm preggers. DH and I are super excited. I called the OBGYN to make an appt...it's to confirm that I'm preggers.
DH just started a new job...he may not come to the Dr appt. Is that a horrible thing?

I wouldn't say it's horrible, it's work, he's not missing it because of something recreational, ya know? especially if he started a new job.

Congrats!!!
how far along will you be? If it is just to confirm your pregnancy it will probably be too early for a sono or to see anything so DH wouldn't be missing anything.

Exactly-thats what I was thinking. I asked the women who I made an appt with. No sono, just to confirm the pregnancy. I'm only 4 weeks....very, very early.

I wouldn't stress him missing this appointment so long as he's there for the sonogram where you get to see/hear the heartbeat.

my dh didn't come with me to the first appt because of work. he leaves before office hours and gets home after office hours... and it was too short of notice for him to put in for the day off.
totally not a big deal.
