Pre Natals
When did you start taking them?
Not TTC just yet... just wondering when I am supposed to start that. I've heard some people start way before they TTC.

Some people do. I did not start taking them till 11 weeks. When i first found out i was having a baby.

Anytime you want. You can start them way before you even think of TTC. They're good for you regardless.

I can't recall completely, but I think I started taking them the month I conceived  I've been taking OTC target brand with 2 expecta DHA capsules......

I started beforehand. Well not exactly prenatals but a regular multivitamin with an increased amt of folic acid (which is the vitamin drs are concerned about you having in your system before getting pg).
So I took a good multivitamin with 800mcg of folic acid in it.

I bought some OTC prenatals and took them for about 5 months before I got pregnant...they have good things in them that you need anyway!

I started taking a regular multivitamin with 400 mcg of folic acid 8 months before TTC (most doctors recommend taking folic acid at least 3 months before TTC). I switched to OTC prenatals (800 mcg of folic acid) when I found out I was pregnant.

I started OTC prenatals when I first got pregnant and then switched to RX ones after my pregnancy was confirmed by my doctor.

I was taking folic acid a couple o months before TTC and stated prenatals about a month before. I get nature made from drugstore.com

i read somewhere that it is good to start when TTC'ing, it could help prevent miscarriage.
I started when the Dr prescribed them after my BFP

My previous OB-GYN prescribed prenatals for me after I quit BCP (shortly after we got married a little over two yrs ago, because I hated them, and was so happy to quit them after 8 yrs!! ) even though we weren't TTC'ing but you never know when life decided to throw you a surprised  . Sure enough we found out we are pregnant about a month ago, so I am glad that I was already taking prenatals.
This worked for me, but everyone's different, so consult with your OB
