I spent the night in the ER last night. I had just finished my nightly exorcist vomiting routine and went to go to the bathroom and when I wiped the paper was covered in deep red blood with clots. The toilet also had blood in it.......... I started freaking out because I also had some stonger/different cramping all evening but didn't worry because I wasn't bleeding.
I went to the local ER near me (I'm not in NY) and they drew blood, gave me 2 bags of fluid since i've been so dehydrated adn did a vaginal exam.
My blood work came back good...beta levels still very high. The vaginal exam the MD said my cerivx was closed, long and hard.
They tried listening for the baby's heart beat bydoppler adn couldn't get anythign but said that it is still early (i'm 12 weeks)
The frustrating part is that there is NO ULTRASOUND TECH after 11pm at night and this isn't considered to be an emergency to call one in.
We got home at 5am and I've tried sleeping for a few hours. I have a prescription from teh ER MD to go back and get an ultrasound from teh hospital today.
I have a call into my midwife group to try and get the ultrasound through them and see them today.
I'm upset, they are calling this a threatened misscarraige which they refer to any bleeding in this part of the pregnanct that is unknown..............
I've been through so much the last few months with the hyperemesis and being sick. I need this bean to stay.............
If anyone could spare some extra prayers today, I need it!

UPDATE: So I went to outpatient radilology in the hospital and had an ultra sound done. The techs can't tell you anything.....but.................
WE SAW THE BABY!!!!! OH WHAT A BLESSING!!!
He/She was EXTREMELY active! The tech was super sweet and kept laughing because teh baby would not sit still for any measurements......
WE saw the baby wave to us and do sommesaults. We saw the arms and legs and little hands with fingers.
We saw the heart beating and heard it 160-165 nice and strong.............
So the bay looks good. At this point I don't have any information on my placenta or what could have caused the bleeding. The repost is going to be faxed to my midwife in the morning and I see her tomorrow at 4pm so I will update you all again.
I know in my heart that everything is going to be fine now.....even the tech hinted to us that everythign looked good.
