I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I went through cancer with my father and he was given a very, very grim prognosis when he was diagnosed. He was in the ICU and given last rights at one point. The whole thing was horrible for my entire family, but 4 years later he cancer free and as healthy as can be. What I have learned from this is to never give up hope and try to take one day at a time.
