pp af and shorter cycles

So I am ttc now but ds is only 9 months old and only had 3 pp af. I used to be 35-40cd cycle and now i'm like 22cd.. Has anyone else had this and if so did it get longer for you again? I asked my dr and she said that its ok but I'm wondering if its because i'm still bfing? I'm so confused now on trying to calculate when I O. Should I wait till I stop bfing to ttc?

Leanne, I would use an OPK for a cycle or two to figure out when you are Oing.

I feel like I could have written this post! I, too, am still BFing, and have had 3 pp AF's- all really close together. Before conceiving my DC, I was exactly 28 days like clockwork. I just finished my 3rd AF a few days ago, so I'll have to get back to you on when/if my cycles get longer.

I'm gonna by the opk that has a 20 sticks (If I remember correctly) and i'm gonna start as soon as af ends for this month and if still not preggo then hopefully that will at least give me an idea so I can do the ones with only 7 sticks..
