Potty Traning - any insight
I did the 3 day potty method with DD she was fully trained in day and half (not including night time but that I was fine with)
For DS I did the 3 day it took 3 more than 3 days and he basically got it. he was still having accidents but got it. now months later he completely has reverted back!
he knows how to go he just wont go when he has pants on
if I leave him with no underwear or pants he will actually just go to the potty by himself he wont even tell me sometimes.
once those pants/underwear on he just pees in them its driving me crazy he is in daycare during the week and they try to take him and he goes but he will still have accidents.
I don't know what to do. I cant imagine having to go back to diapers and IMO pull ups are just like diapers.
anyone DC do fine with no pants/underwear on but once they went on they just peed? just wondering if its going to stop anytime soon and he will just get it again. he is 100% being stubborn I know it.

I have been going through this exact thing with my son. About 6 months ago he decided no more diapers! Although the timing was horrible since I was 9 months pregnant we went with it. He was pretty good with pee but poop that was another story. He would just poop in his pants. He was not afraid or withholding he just would poop whereever. We tried food rewards, stickers, stamps, anything really! At one point we even tried putting him back in pull ups thinking that he would want to earn back his big boy underwear. That did not work either!
Everyone was telling me that one day it will just click.... Well that was definitely true. All of a sudden one day we were in Target and he was like "Mom I have to go poopy" I almost died... We ran over to the bathroom and he went poopy in the potty. He announced no more diapers. We went over to the big boy underwear and he got to pick out more. From that point on something just clicked and he has done it. He has had a few accidents but not many.
I didnt believe it but it is true but it just clicks!
