Post your gift ideas for everyone!!!!!!
I thought it might be a nice idea for everyone to post their ideas, original or not, to give everyone else some inspiration for the upcoming holidays.
Let's try to make everyone a little less stressed and make gift buying fun again!!!!!
OK, I'm buying DH a new video camera and a skateboard. Yes, I said skateboard!!! He wants one so our dog can pull him on it.  DH just turned 36.....
My nephew-thinking of a leapfrog type educational toy and some clothes.....
My godmother/surrogate grandmother-a GC to her favorite hair salon.
Need help with:
1- goddaughter (2 yrs old)
2-Dad (not telling!)
Let's get the creative juices flowing!!!!

So far:
My niece and nephew (nrthshgrl's kids):
DVD player and two movies (Over the Hedge and Cars)
Nephews (DH's side):
Pretend power tools, Elmo TMX and one of those foam chairs (they fight over the one they have now)
DH:
So far I'm thinking a radar detector, he doesn't have enough stuff AT ALL hanging from the windshield (i.e. Sirius and GPS)
Mom:
25th Anniversary Ornament (I got my aunt a 50th Anniversary one and she loved it)

mom, sister, and in-laws: no idea yet
DS: quetsion is what isnt he getting, and the littel bugger has a birthday 2 weeks later
So far I have bought a Thomas "laptop" computer toy, new buzz sneakers, some play foam (like floam but way cheaper on amazon), tons of books, a polar express train set, clothes from disney store and one if those thomas tent houses Image Attachment(s):

I'm having a friend who makes Raggedy Ann dolls w/ the child's name sewn onto them made for my bosses twins.
Sister - Clothes
Mom - My sister & I are buying her her outdoor patio furniture
MIL - Ulta Gift Cert (that's what she's asked for) also one of these
She loves them ( I get her one every year)
So far that's all I have.

Those things are HUGE!!!
Nicholas had a school bus and it took up the ENTIRE basement!! I returned it ASAP!!!
Looks like George is moving out for a while so Ryan can hang out in his Thomas tent!!

NO I havent gotten it yet, but its collapsable and folds up into a nice bag. So when Ryan wants to play with it he can take it out and when he is done I can put it away. One of the neighbor kids have something similar and they play with it outside all of the time. Since we cant have toys outside permanently it works well for me.Image Attachment(s):

OK, here's my newest ppurchases
For my nephew and goddaughter. It's the Leapfrog Baby Tad and it talks, plays music and is very educational, something I felt was important for them.
For my boss who is Portuguese and impossible to shop for
For my dad (so far), he loves books
Come on ladies, we need lot's of ideas!!!!
Oh, and I didn't go with the Thomas tent because it was, indeed, HUGE!!!! My SIL in law would kill me, well, on second thought.......
